Who can join The Scottish Flex Forum?

Membership is open to leaders in flexible workspace including owner operators, directors , business centre managers, sales managers coworking providers, specialist agents in Scotland’s flexible workspace market.

Is membership free?

Yes. The Scottish Flex Forum is completely free to join, with no membership fees or annual subscriptions.

What are the benefits of joining?

Members can network with fellow industry professionals, attend regular gatherings and events, stay informed about sector developments, raise their profile within the industry and receive a free directory listing.

All we ask is you stay engaged with the group virtually or in person at our events.

Does the Forum organise networking events?

Yes. The Forum hosts regular meet-ups and networking events designed to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing and relationship building across Scotland’s flexible workspace community.

These are usually in Edinburgh and Glasgow however our hope is to hold more outside the big 2 cities and perhaps even virtually

Events are ‘sponsored’ by the host space who provides space and refreshments in return for hosting a talk or tour on the space.

Can suppliers to the flexible workspace industry join?

The forum is for leaders within flex such as space managers or brokers or agents and consultants specialising in flexible workspace.

We also welcome leaders who offer desk booking services/apps to join, if they have locations in Scotland .

How do I become a member?

Joining is simple. Just email steven@yourflexexpert.co.uk if you meet the membership criteria.

Will members receive a directory listing?

Yes. Members are eligible for a complimentary directory listing, helping promote their workspace, service or business to the wider flexible workspace community. Opting out is fine too.

The Scottish Flex Forum is a new regular meet-up of leaders in the Scottish Flexible Workspace industry. It’s aims are simple; to connect and inspire, share best practice and to facilitate networking.

The forum is facilitated by Your Flex Expert Ltd as a regional industry networking & insights group supported by spaces hosting us, therefor there is no membership fee, we are not a trade body.

Who is the Scottish Flex Forum For?

The Scottish Flex Forum is open to owners or leaders in Scotland’s Flexible Workspace Industry, from independents to national providers. If your head office is based outside Scotland but you have a presence here you are still welcome. Membership is open exclusively to Scotland‑based workspace consultants, agents and brokers who specialise in the flexible workspace sector.

Steven Carr is the Founder of Your Flex Expert and The Scottish Flex Forum. A well-known figure within Scotland's flexible workspace sector, Steven has spent many years working across serviced offices, coworking spaces, business centres and managed workspace environments. Before launching Your Flex Expert in 2026, he held a variety of operational, management and business development roles, helping to grow and launch flexible workspaces throughout the UK. His career includes experience with leading operators including IWG plc, Flexspace and Clockwise. Today, Steven works with workspace operators, landlords and occupiers, helping businesses find the right space while supporting the continued growth of the flexible workspace industry across Scotland and beyond.
